Office Hours: Mondays 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.
Welcome! My name is Jonathan, and I am a third year majoring in Linguistics and French. Foreign languages are my obsession, but my professional interests lie in medicine. I have a positive attitude and like to keep things simple and clean. As for my hobbies, I am a ballet enthusiast and am currently learning to play the cello. I am very interested in the intersectionality of identities and am eager to learn from you all. This year I really want to expand Lambda’s ally network and bring in as many perspectives as possible! Please invite your friends to become just as involved in Lambda as you are! If you have any questions or just want to chat, please feel free to drop by during my office hours or shoot me an email!
Office Hours: Wednesdays 12:15 p.m. -1:15 p.m.
My name is Ciera Durden, and I am a junior majoring in Japanese and English at the University of Georgia. In my free time, I love to write and perform spoken word, and I aspire to be a published author and a translator. I am a huge advocate for LGBTQ rights and community, which is how I came to join Lambda Alliance. Currently, I am the Lambda board’s secretary, which means I manage social networking, email, and the like. I would love to answer any questions you have about Lambda or anything else, so feel free to stop by during my office hours! I also tend to float around the LGBT
Resource Center, so feel free to strike up a conversation whenever you want!
Director of Finance
Psychology and Public Health
Office Hours: Tuesdays 12:30 p.m. -1:30 p.m.
Greetings! My name is Tan, like the color. I am a senior at UGA whose obsession with pop-culture, music, art, and science surprises even me! Growing up in Atlanta I LOVE the big city, and so my future goal is to live in NYC or D.C. while working for the Federal Government. As the Director of Finance I hold the power of the purse; I keep track of what, how and why Lambda spends its money. In addition I also work with other board members in brainstorming new fundraising ideas. Some things I like doing in my spare time: playing my violin, being active or physical, pretending I’m on American Idol, having a good laugh, but most importantly talking to and building relationships with the diverse population on this campus. So if you have any questions/comments/suggestions/ideas or just want to talk, swing by my office hours and we can have ourselves a nice chat, I’ll even bring the tea and cookies!
My name is Steven Andrew Edwards, commonly known as “Stevie” or “that guy”. I am the event coordinator of Lambda and a sophomore Cognitive Science major and English minor. I am a Whovian and a sci-fi/fantasy nerd with various eclectic obsessions. My ultimate goal is to be a novelist and poet and to live in NYC. In my free time, I fight the forces of darkness and read comics. I look forward to this semester and getting to know all of you! Feel free to drop by during my office hours or to contact me. But don’t come by my house, though. That’s creepy. Just drop by the office or email me, okay? Okay. Excelsior!

Office Hours: Tuesdays 2 p.m.-3 p,m.
I’m Ecil (EE-sull) and my job is to make sure that you can’t walk 500 feet without seeing a rainbow flyer, among other things. I’m a second-year student here at UGA, and I’m excited for a very queer year! My interests include watching too much news, reading too much feminist literature, and talking too much. If not for a Lambda Alliance ad, I would never have become involved in something that I love and met some of the best people around, and I can only hope that someone else discovers this organization from my flyers and finds Lambda Alliance just as meaningful as I do. If you ever feel the need to talk to someone, please don’t hesitate to stop by or send me an email!
