The semester is coming to a close! A big thanks to the general body and everyone who worked to make this semester possible!
Finals are just around the corner…so we are hosting an End of the Semester Study Breaker to help all you fabulous people relax and enjoy yourselves before exams begin! There will be refreshments and a lot of fun to be had!
This Saturday is Lavender Graduation 2012! This is one of the LGBT Resource Center’s biggest events of the semester, so please join us in celebrating the achievements of some amazing UGA students!
Monday, April 30th the NAACP is hosting a Trayvon Martin Prayer Vigil.

Tonight is the Breaking the Silence Concert in Tate Plaza! There will be FREE CUPCAKES!
Next Thursday is Healing from Spiritual Violence, a program focusing on ways to provide or restore access to communities of faith.
We hope y’all are having an awesome Gaypril so far! There have been many LGBTQA events and there are many more to come!
Our next Monday meeting topic is Activism 101! We will discuss the basics of activism and have guest speakers from other organizations share their insight. Tate room 480 at 5:30 PM! Hope to see you there!
Tuesday, April 17th is our Q&A with Queers: Asexuality panel!! You definitely do not want to miss this asexy panel of aces!
Wednesday, April 18th is our Lambda Spring Dance! Come out for a fabulous night of dancing with your fellow queers and allies! Attire is semi-formal.
Saturday, April 21st is the worldwide LGBT Civil Rights March! Athens Pride will be taking part: Athens PRIDE- LGBT Civil Rights March. If you believe in equal rights and want equality for all, then come and march with us! Wear a purple shirt and be sure to bring signs/banners!
Saturday, April 21st is sapph.fire’s 2nd annual Big Gay Cookout! The cookout begins immediately after the LGBT Civil Rights March. This is a family friendly event open to people of all ages and identities.
