AIDS Walk and Sexual Health Meeting

Can’t wait to see all of you tomorrow during the AIDS Walk! The Annual Athens AIDS Walk, sponsored by the UGA College of Public Health, will be from 9:00 a.m.-12:00p.m. The 3-mile awareness walk will start and end at Tate Plaza on the University of Georgia campus. The walk will be a fun, interactive, and inspiring event for all ages. You can register online at To walk with the Lambda folks, sign up under GLOBES-Pride Team.

Also, Lambda Alliance’s next body meeting will be focused on sexual health with the fabulous guest speaker Katy Janousek. Katy is the sexual health specialist and student development coordinator at the University Health Center. Her areas of specialization include healthy sexual decision making, LGBTQ concerns, and pregnancy/STI prevention, so needless to say, she’s well-equipped to answer any questions you may have! Come out to Tate 137 on Monday, October 21st, 5:30 p.m. to check her out!
