ATTENTION STUDENTS, FACULTY, AND STAFF!
Have you gone through Safe Space training yet?
As part of the LGBT Resource Center, Safe Space is a campus-wide initiative that offers a visible message of inclusion, acceptance, and support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and asexual (LGBTQA) people in the University community.
The program offers participants a three-hour orientation to raise awareness and knowledge of LGBTQA issues and to suggest ways to serve as an ally to LGBTQA individuals. Following the orientation, participants receive a Resource Guide to augment their learning, and a Safe Space decal to display in their work or living space.
